You can help provide valuable data for Wheektown’s research on guinea pig medical treatments, diet, and disease.
Medical treatments
If you have ever taken your guinea pig to the vet or otherwise treated them for a condition, you can help provide valuable data for Wheektown’s research on guinea pig medical treatments. You can share information on any medications, diagnostic tests, and surgeries they have had. Report the success, failure, or side effects of a medication your guinea pig has taken
If your guinea pig has ever had malocclusion, bloat, or bladder stones — or even if they haven’t — then you can help provide valuable data for Wheektown’s research on the relationship between diet and disease. You can also share information on any unusual fruits, vegetables, or other plants that you have fed your guinea pigs to help us get a better understanding of the edibility of these foods. Report the occurrence (or absence) of malocclusion in your guinea pig
If your guinea pig suffers from a congenital defect (a problem they were born with), has ever been pregnant, has a special need (such as blindness, deafness, paralysis, epilepsy, Diabetes, etc), or otherwise has a health condition, you can help provide valuable data for Wheektown’s research on the prevalence and management of disease. Report the occurrence of congenital abnormalities and diseases
