If you have found a stray guinea pig, please call us immediately on 0432 218 720 with information on where the guinea pig is located, how many there are, and anything else that may be of help.
If you can no longer take care of your guinea pigs and want to ensure they are found a loving new home, Wheektown is open for all cases, big or small, and for whatever reason. In the event we do not have the room to take the guinea pigs in, we can help you organise their surrender to the RSPCA in Armidale. You may also call the small animal division of the Armidale RSPCA directly on0456 777 125.
To surrender a guinea pig, please send us a message through Facebook, email, the contact form, or you can text us at any time. Surrenders must be dropped off at the Wheektown residence in Armidale, or they can be picked up from the surrounding area in exchange for a donation. If you have adopted from Wheektown previously and can no longer look after the guinea pigs you adopted, please send us a message through Facebook, email, the contact form, or you can text us. If you are elsewhere in Australia and cannot drop the guinea pigs off at the Wheektown residence in Armidale, we can organise that you drop off the guinea pigs at another rescue closer to your location.
